{"id":2567,"date":"2026-03-05T10:25:57","date_gmt":"2026-03-05T10:25:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/development.atmotion.gr\/rental-terms\/"},"modified":"2026-04-17T10:25:22","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T10:25:22","slug":"rental-terms","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/development.atmotion.gr\/en\/rental-terms\/","title":{"rendered":"Rental Terms"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"atmotion-terms\">\n<h1>FULL CAR RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS<\/h1>\n<p class=\"text-center\">(Passenger Cars, Vans, Flex, Leasing)<\/p>\n<p>This document sets forth the detailed terms and conditions for vehicle rentals\/leases with AtMOTION and applies to all passenger car and van rentals, as well as to Flex (month-month) and Leasing programs, unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g., special offer\/contract).<\/p>\n<p><strong>By making a reservation, signing a contract, and\/or taking delivery of a vehicle, the Renter declares that they have read, understood, and fully accept these terms and conditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>1. Definitions<\/h2>\n<p><strong>\u00abCompany\u00bb\/\u00abAtMOTION\u00bb:<\/strong> the car rental company that leases the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTenant\u201d: the person who signs the lease and is responsible for all obligations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00abDriver\u00bb\/\u00abAuthorized driver\u03c2\u00bb:<\/strong> a person who is registered with and approved by AtMOTION to drive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00abVehicle\u00bb: <\/strong>the passenger car or van being rented, along with all accompanying items (keys, documents, equipment).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00abShort-term rental\u00bb:<\/strong> a rental for a specific number of days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00abFlex\u00bb:<\/strong> Monthly rental (month-month) of a passenger car or van.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00abLeasing\u00bb:<\/strong> long-term rental of a passenger car or van (subject to specific terms and conditions).<\/p>\n<h2>2. Rental Requirements \u2013 Documents<\/h2>\n<p>To rent a vehicle, you must provide, at a minimum, the following: a valid driver\u2019s license, an ID card or passport, contact information (phone number, email), and your home or temporary address.<\/p>\n<p>AtMOTION may request additional documents or information (e.g., proof of address, company details, tax ID number) if it deems it necessary. Providing false or inaccurate information may result in refusal of delivery and\/or termination of the lease. <\/p>\n<h3>Age Requirements &amp; Driver's License<\/h3>\n<p>The Renter and any authorized driver must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be at least <strong>23 years<\/strong> of age.<\/li>\n<li>Must have held a valid driver's license for at least <strong>1 year.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Drivers aged 21 to 23 may rent a vehicle for an additional fee <strong>(Young Driver Fee)<\/strong>. AtMOTION reserves the right to restrict vehicle categories for younger drivers. <\/p>\n<h2>3. Reservations \u2013 Confirmation \u2013 Modifications<\/h2>\n<p>Reservations can be made through the website, by phone, or by any other method specified by AtMOTION. A reservation is considered final only after confirmation by AtMOTION and is subject to vehicle availability. <\/p>\n<p>AtMOTION reserves the right to offer an equivalent vehicle of the same or a higher class if the originally selected vehicle is unavailable, at no additional charge.<\/p>\n<h3>Cancellations &amp; Changes to Reservations<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Free cancellation up to <strong>7 days <\/strong>before the start of the rental period.<\/li>\n<li>For cancellations made less than 7 days in advance or in the event of a no-show, the company reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>4. Prices \u2013 Payments \u2013 Warranty (in exceptional cases)<\/h2>\n<p>Rental rates vary depending on the season, duration, vehicle category, and plan. Available payment methods: Payment upon pickup, credit\/debit\/prepaid card, bank deposit, PayPal. <\/p>\n<p>AtMOTION reserves the right to request a security deposit or pre-approval in exceptional cases, particularly when it deems it necessary based on the Lessee\u2019s profile or the vehicle category.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Delivery \u2013 Pickup \u2013 Timing \u2013 After-hours charges<\/h2>\n<p>Free delivery\/pickup is available from <strong>8:00 AM to 11:00 PM <\/strong>at designated locations (Thessaloniki Airport, KTEL Bus Station, Train Station, city hotels). For out-of-hours delivery or collection, a charge of <strong>20\u20ac <\/strong>per occurrence applies.<\/p>\n<p>Late Pickup: AtMOTION will hold the vehicle for up to 2 hours past the agreed-upon time. After that, the reservation may be canceled. <\/p>\n<h2>6. Guides \u2013 Use by third parties<\/h2>\n<p>Only the Renter and the designated drivers are permitted to drive the vehicle. Transferring the vehicle to an unauthorized person is prohibited and voids all coverage. The Renter is jointly and severally liable for the acts or omissions of any driver.  <\/p>\n<h2>7. Kilometers<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Short-term car rentals: Unlimited mileage.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Flex &amp; Passenger Leasing<\/strong>: up to 2,500 km per month.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Van (Rental, Flex, Leasing): <\/strong>up to 5,000 km per month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the limit is exceeded, an additional charge will be applied according to the price list.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Fuel<\/h2>\n<p>The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was picked up. Otherwise, the Renter will be charged for the cost of the fuel, and a service fee may be imposed. Refueling with the wrong type of fuel will result in the Renter being fully liable for all damages and expenses.  <\/p>\n<h2>9. Late Return \u2013 Failure to Return<\/h2>\n<p>A grace period of up to<strong> 1 hour <\/strong>is provided. After this period, AtMOTION may charge for an additional rental day. In the event of failure to return the vehicle without notification, the company will take all legal measures to recover it.<\/p>\n<h2>10. Insurance \u2013 Coverage<\/h2>\n<p>The insurance coverages (liability, CDW, PDW, SCDW, TP) are described in detail in the \u201cInsurance Coverage Policy\u201d document. In the event of damage, a claim processing fee may be charged (unless SCDW is included). <\/p>\n<h2>11. Prohibited Uses \u2013 Alcohol \u2013 Traffic Violations<\/h2>\n<p>Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited. Off-road use, participation in races, subleasing, and the transport of illegal cargo are prohibited. The Renter is fully liable for all fines and traffic violations.  <\/p>\n<h2>12. Travel Outside Greece \u2013 Ferries<\/h2>\n<p>It is prohibited to leave the country or travel by ship without the <strong>written consent <\/strong>of AtMOTION. Any violation will result in the cancellation of all coverage. <\/p>\n<h2>13. Special Terms for Vans<\/h2>\n<p>Overloading is prohibited. The Lessee is responsible for safe loading and for any damage resulting from misuse or exceeding the weight limit. <\/p>\n<h2>14. Accident \u2013 Procedure<\/h2>\n<p>In the event of an incident, the Renter must notify the police and AtMOTION, provide details, and sign an accident report. Failure to follow this procedure may result in loss of coverage. <\/p>\n<h2>15. Breakdowns \u2013 Roadside Assistance<\/h2>\n<p>In the event of a mechanical failure, contact roadside assistance\/AtMOTION. Repairs are not permitted without prior written approval. <\/p>\n<h2>16. Cleanliness \u2013 Smoking<\/h2>\n<p>Smoking is prohibited. In the event of severe soiling or foul odors, AtMOTION reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee. <\/p>\n<h2>17. Loss of keys\/documents<\/h2>\n<p>The Lessee shall be liable for the full cost of replacing keys, documents, or equipment, as well as for the costs associated with immobilizing the vehicle.<\/p>\n<h2>18. Personal items<\/h2>\n<p>AtMOTION assumes no liability for the loss or theft of personal belongings inside the vehicle.<\/p>\n<h2>19. Personal Data Protection<\/h2>\n<p>Data processing is carried out in accordance with the GDPR for the purpose of fulfilling the lease agreement and ensuring the company\u2019s legal compliance.<\/p>\n<h2>20. Right to Refuse a Lease<\/h2>\n<p>AtMOTION reserves the right to refuse rental for safety reasons. In the event of prepayment, the full amount will be refunded. <\/p>\n<h2>21. Other Terms \u2013 Amendments<\/h2>\n<p>These terms and conditions are subject to change. If any provision is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. <\/p>\n<h2>22. Company Liability \u2013 Force Majeure<\/h2>\n<p>The company's liability for unavailability due to force majeure is limited to a refund of the rental fee.<\/p>\n<h2>23. Jurisdiction<\/h2>\n<p>Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts <strong>of Thessaloniki<\/strong> and shall be governed by Greek law.<\/p>\n<h2>24.
