INSURANCE COVERAGE POLICY & DETAILED EXCLUSIONS

This Insurance Coverage Policy describes in detail the available insurance coverages offered by AtMOTION, their charges, exemptions and exclusions. It is a separate and supplemental document to the Full Rental Terms and Conditions and is available for each customer's information prior to or during the rental period.

General Information:
Insurance cover is valid only if all AtMOTION's Rental Terms and Conditions, the Highway Code and the company's instructions are complied with. In the event of a breach, cover may be cancelled in full.

1. CDW – Collision Damage Waiver (Basic Coverage)

CDW is included in the basic rental price.

Deductible:

  • Categories A – Mini, B – Economy, C – Compact: €1,000
  • All other categories: €1,500

Covers: Damage to the vehicle bodywork caused by collision.

Does not cover:

  • Damage to tires and rims (punctures, cuts, bends, impacts).
  • Damage to the underside of the vehicle (oil pan, control arms, exhaust system, chassis beam).
  • Damage to the upper part of the vehicle (roof, antenna, damage caused by low-clearance parking entrances).
  • Damage to the interior (seats, dashboard, trim).
  • Burn damage to the interior or seats caused by cigarettes.
  • Damage caused by refueling with the wrong fuel.
  • Loss of or damage to the key.
  • Damage caused by alcohol, substances, or violations of the Road Traffic Code.
  • Damage caused by off-road driving or use on unpaved surfaces.
  • Theft of personal belongings.
  • Theft of the vehicle due to negligence (unlocked vehicle or key left inside).
  • Any damage caused by negligence or improper use.

2. PDW – Partial Damage Waiver (Partial Damage Coverage)

PDW is available as an optional extra at an additional charge and reduces the CDW excess.

Charge & New Deductible:

  • Categories A, B, C: €3/day – deductible reduced to €300
  • Other categories: €5/day – deductible reduced to €500

All CDW exclusions shall apply in full.

3. SCDW – Super Collision Damage Waiver (Zero Excess)

SCDW is available as an optional extra at an additional charge and provides zero excess.

Charge:

  • Categories A, B, C: €10/day
  • Other categories: €15/day

Important clarification: Although the deductible is zero, the exclusions still apply. The following are not covered: tires and rims, the underside of the vehicle, the upper part and interior, damage caused by negligence, alcohol, violations of the Road Traffic Code, or off-road use, and theft of personal belongings.

4. TP – Theft Protection (Theft Coverage)

TP is available as an optional extra at a charge of €3/day.

Covers: Total theft of the vehicle and damage resulting from an attempted theft.

Does not cover: Theft of personal belongings, theft when the vehicle was left unlocked or the key was inside, theft due to the driver’s negligence.

Final Clarifications

The choice of insurance cover is made before or at the start of the lease and is stated in the contract. AtMOTION reserves the right to amend this policy. The version in force at the time is that applicable at the time of hire.
